Lab 1 – Setting up a homapage

Objectives: Setting up  a blog, connecting to wikispaces, join Diigo

Equipment List: Computer and internet

Notes and Observation:

  • I’ve never noticed a platform like wordpress to be so user friendly.
  • Created this blog in the progress.
  • Realizing the potential of Wiki like wikispaces.
  • Added entry in the Glossary page – Virtual Reality (VR) on the class wiki.
  • Joined Diigo and shared an article on Using VR in Schools.

Questions: What is a Wiki? A Wiki is a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users.

Conclusion: This lab though me to use the tools above to broaden my knowledge and networking skills.
